Comfort: May 15 TAGline

THOUGHT: Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.

CHALLENGE: “God is always there. You may not realize it sometimes, but be comforted today in the knowledge that God is with you always. Be mindful throughout the day and notice God in all the unfamiliar places.”

REFERENCE: “I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Comfort: March 29 TAGline

THOUGHT: “When our Lord said “”It is finished,”” he meant FINISHED!”

CHALLENGE: “Each day, as you place your faith in Jesus as your Savior, rest assured that you are 100% forgiven of your sins. Trust that Jesus knew how to finish His work so that we have the opportunity for eternal happiness. Show Him your appreciation for His sacrafice by helping someone in need this Good Friday.”

REFERENCE: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption, which is in Jesus.”

Comfort: March 19 TAGline

THOUGHT: “Some people talk about finding God, as if He could get lost.”

CHALLENGE: “God is always there; we just don’t always seek Him. How many signs of God have you seen today? Keep watching, they’ll keep appearing.”

REFERENCE: “Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

Comfort: March 4 TAGline

THOUGHT: Count your blessings – literally.

CHALLENGE: “Do you feel stressed? Worried? Anxious? Start counting your blessings one by one. By the time you get to 10, you should feel God’s gracious love calming your spirit. Try it!”

REFERENCE: Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving. Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

Comfort: February 19 TAGline

THOUGHT: “When we lose God, it is not God who is lost.”

CHALLENGE: “The best way to never lose God, is to keep Him close at all times. Make sure you have a reminder of God within view as you work today. If you don’t, print this out and keep it with you.”

REFERENCE: “…always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Comfort: December 18 TAGline

THOUGHT: “Comfort streams immediately from God himself, as light shines from the sun; and sometimes beams itself into the meanest corners of the darkest rooms.”

CHALLENGE: “Pray for God’s comfort to come to the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook School tragedy. Pray that they will come to know that even though their loved ones were taken from their arms, that God now has His loving arms around them.”

REFERENCE: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Comfort: September 25 TAGline

THOUGHT: “Trusting in others and even in God is especially difficult when we are vulnerable. Yet, it is when we are most vulnerable that we can experience trusting in others fully for the first time.”

CHALLENGE: “Share one thought, fear or burden with a friend or God today. You will feel your heart lighten.”

REFERENCE: Trust in the Lord.

Comfort: September 10 TAGline

THOUGHT: “God does not comfort us to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters.”

CHALLENGE: Who do you know that needs comfort? Find a way to comfort them today.

REFERENCE: “You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

THOUGHT: “It is our human nature to ask “why” especially during tough times. We may not always get a good answer, but if we “”know”” Who is good, and if we trust Him, He will protect us.”

CHALLENGE: Take comfort in knowing that every situation you encounter has already been thought out by God. Just follow His example.

REFERENCE: His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
