THOUGHT: A problem not worth praying about is not worth worrying about.
CHALLENGE: Share your troubles with God through prayer today and have faith that he is listening. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
REFERENCE: “The Lord is good, giving protection in times of trouble. He knows who trusts in him.”
THOUGHT: “On days where everything seems to go wrong, remember that help is only a prayer away. God is listening, and if you listen to His response, you will find comfort.”
CHALLENGE: “If you find trouble in your life today, pray to the Lord for strength. Find comfort in knowing that God is listening.”
REFERENCE: “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.”
THOUGHT: Find out how much God has given you and take from it what you need; the remainder is needed by others.
CHALLENGE: Consider the many possessions you have that go unused. Find an individual or charity that could use them and donate them today.
REFERENCE: “But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish.”
THOUGHT: “Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it.”
CHALLENGE: Set a new goal for yourself today and look forward to the personal growth ahead.
REFERENCE: But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
THOUGHT: Kindness is contagious – And habit forming!
CHALLENGE: Research says it takes 21 days to integrate a habit into your everyday life. Start forming your habit today with small acts of kindness.
REFERENCE: The tongue of the wise brings healing.
THOUGHT: Work as if you were to live one hundred years; pray as if you were to die tomorrow.
CHALLENGE: “Pray with a greater sense of urgency…Not to create personal anxiety, but to relieve it!”
REFERENCE: “And may these words of mine, which I have prayed before the LORD , be near to the LORD our God day and night, that he may uphold the cause of his servant and the cause of his people Israel according to each day’s need,”
THOUGHT: Sharing what you have is more important than what you have.
CHALLENGE: Take this simple thought and act on it today. Share what you have with someone in need.
REFERENCE: “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
THOUGHT: No one can do the good you can do today – Except you.
CHALLENGE: You have a unique set of opportunities to do good. Will you do all the good you can do today? Help or show kindness to a complete stranger?
REFERENCE: “Remember, O LORD , how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.”
THOUGHT: A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour. Everything you have and everything you see was created by God.
CHALLENGE: “If today does not go exactly how you planned it, look around and find a silver lining – it is there.”
REFERENCE: “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
THOUGHT: “Faith is a sounder guide than reason. Reason can go only so far, but faith has no limits.”
CHALLENGE: “Repeat this phrase to yourself: Faith has no limits. Have faith, and the confidence you need will follow.”
REFERENCE: In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
